Where the sunflowers are...

Seen as it was a lovely day, we decided to take a trip down the Gower, It's one of my favourite places! Gorgeous scenery, the best beaches and we got married there!!
We love taking the dog's for a walk down Worm's head Rhosilli, but in the summer everyone flocks there to see the field's of beautiful sunflower's and get their instagram grid worthy pictures.
Around 400,000 seed's were planted in an attempt to grow and harvest bird seed and also to help the population of bee's.
We were quite suprised to find out that vandals had been picking the flowers and actually witnessed a parent tell their child to pull one from the ground!!

Once we had our photo's we decided to take a walk down worm's head, it's so pretty looking out to the beach then further on to the sea, there's also a nice little pub there with a terrace looking out over the beach.

As much as i love it there it does send my anxiety through the roof as Jamie and the boy's love to look over the cliff edges, by the time we leave there i feel like a crazy paranoid wreck!
When we got to the end we went and sat on the grass and watched the para gliders with the sea all around us and the sun shining, it was so lovely. I think next time we will take a picnic 😀

It's such a lovely day out especially if you don't want to spend much money, you could take a picnic then it would only cost £2.50 for the car park.
There are plenty of places to eat, you have the worm's head hotel if you would like bar food, there's a cafe and a fish and chip shop.
There's also the bonus of the beautiful scenery on the drive there.
